Domain age is the time since a domain was first registered. This checker reads the date from RDAP, the public successor to WHOIS. Some registries do not publish RDAP data or a registration date. Age alone does not make a site rank in Google.
How it works

- Check the registry. We look up its public registration record through RDAP.
- Read the dates. See its age, registration date, registrar, and expiry date when published.

What is domain age?
Domain age is the time since a domain was first registered. We calculate it from the registration date in the domain registry's public RDAP record.
Does domain age affect SEO?
Google has said domain age alone is not a ranking factor. An older domain does not automatically rank better; its content and reputation matter more.
Why does a domain show no data?
Some country-code top-level domains (ccTLDs) do not publish a public RDAP service. A registry may also omit the registration date from its record.
Is the domain age checker free?
Yes. You can run up to 30 checks per hour without an account.
How accurate is the domain age?
The dates come from the registry's RDAP data as published. If a registry omits or changes a date, we can only show what it provides.
