Science AI Journal is a free-to-start suite of AI tools for academic researchers, plus an open-access, AI-reviewed journal (CC BY 4.0).
Three tools take a paper from idea to submission:
- Research Gap Finder: 1,100+ grounded, citable research gaps across 14 fields, distilled from the 250 million-paper OpenAlex corpus. Each gap comes with the key, most-cited literature around it and a starting proposal.
- Journal Finder: a ranked shortlist from a 17,500+ venue index, with Scimago quartile, open-access status, indexing (DOAJ / Scopus / PubMed) and predatory-venue flags.
- AI Peer Review: 8 specialist agents give editor-ready feedback before you submit, calibrated on 69,000+ real peer reviews. A decision in about 15 minutes instead of 12 weeks.
Pricing is freemium and pay-as-you-go, with no subscription. New accounts get 25 free credits and no card is required. The pre-submission check is always free. Research Gap Finder and Journal Finder each run on credits (the welcome credits cover a full run of one), and AI Peer Review is pay-as-you-go.
