I always check player counts before jumping into a multiplayer game, but I got incredibly tired of digging through cluttered, Excel-style tracking sites just to see if a game is still alive.
So I spent the last few weeks building my own clean, dark-mode tracker called Is it Dead?! (isitdead.app). It combines live Steam players and Twitch viewers into a simple dashboard and features a stock-market-style heatmap to see the 24h-trend of the top 50 games at a single glance. It’s a completely free passion project, so I’d love to get your feedback on the UI or hear which games I should add to the database next!
