About

Fabylon Bookmaker is free desktop publishing software for authors, poets and small presses. It imports Word, ODT, EPUB and PDF, combines close reading with typography, and exports PDF, EPUB, Word and .fab files. Its own typesetting engine supports verse structure, sound and meter analysis, KDP cover and preflight workflows, and local-first privacy. The Windows public opening is planned for the end of August 2026; macOS and Linux follow later.
