> The original Million Dollar Homepage was one of those ideas. It was simple, visual, scarce and just strange enough to capture people’s attention.

> I wanted to revisit that idea for today’s internet, but not simply copy it. So I added competition. Instead of buying pixels forever, people can outbid each other for the space.
